Sherwood's increasingly popular Art Festival returns for 2010.
Our aim is to showcase artists and creativity within the local community. This week long event is bigger and better than ever, with over 100 artists proudly displaying hundreds of pieces of art and craft for everyone to enjoy and to be inspired by.
As in 2009, art will be displayed in shop windows as well as in the temporary galleries dotted around Sherwood.
Please refer to the Exhibitions page for more details and a map of the area.
Proceedings commence with a Craft Fair in the secret garden at the United Reformed Church on Saturday 19th June followed by the new Family Day on Sunday 20th with many free activities for both adults and children to try.
There will also be exciting workshops during the week to stimulate your imagination, and interesting and informative talks on film, science and personal artistic journeys.
We hope you enjoy Sherwood Art Week and that it inspires your creativity and, who knows, it could be you exhibiting next year!
